The Beginning

I decided it might be good to start another blog. I had a wedding planning blog awhile ago (http://weatherwed.blogspot.com), and it was kind of fun to keep track of our day-to-day lives.

Plus, we have a somewhat exciting year ahead. Kevin has been working on obtaining some pre-requisites to apply to medical school this fall (he's attending Colorado State University, so now we're both "Ramaloes", a mixture of the CU buffalo and the CSU ram). He'll be taking the MCAT in the summer and applying next fall. But he'll be very busy because he's also still working as an engineer part-time and also volunteering at the local hospital.

My life is somewhat more boring, as this grad school thing seems to just never end. But, I am hoping to attend a couple conferences this year, hopefully start writing another paper, and have my committee meeting in the fall. The goal is to finish by summer 2009, but we'll see.

I am heading to Peru this summer with my sister, and to get in shape, I'm trying to go on a lot of hikes this year, which I also hope to document in this blog.
