This weekend Kevin and I went down to Denver to celebrate my dad's birthday (which actually isn't until Wednesday).Kevin also went to a knife skills class on Saturday and then showed off his new skills on an apple and some garlic later.
For my dad's birthday, we did a little geocaching, and the weather was just great for being outside. One of the caches was at this very hidden memorial to Columbine- the Columbine Peace Labyrinth. It was pretty cool!
We also had a really good dinner that my mom made... steak, Caesar salad, scalloped potatoes, and I made an ice cream cake for dessert.

Am, Thanks for the party and thank K as well. It was fun and it sure was great seeing you both. The scalloped potatoes were even better today.
