The group (hopefully none of them mind being posted on the internet):
And because I had several requests for my Chai tea recipe:
Homemade Chai Tea Mix
1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1 cup French Vanilla non-dairy creamer
2 cups white sugar (can use Splenda instead)
1.5 cups unsweetened instant tea
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
In large bowl combine all ingredients- stir gently. In food processor, blend 1 cup at a time until mixture is the consistency of fine powder. To serve: Stir 2-3 heaping tablespoons mixture into a mug of hot water or hot milk (actually, I like doing half water and half milk).
Enjoy!
I love chai! Are there any substitutes for the non-dairy creamer? The mix of spices looks yummy, though.
ReplyDeleteAs one who was there at the dinner, I can say it was Da Bomb, meaning of course it was wonderful just in case you are not used to Randy on Idol.
ReplyDeleteYum, looks fantastic! So I take it you'll be hosting the next cooking club? Because I'm going to have to nominate you.
