1/5 of the way through my book challenge! I've really been enjoying all the great stuff I've been reading....
8) Club Dead by Charlaine Harris. 3rd book in Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series and I liked it much better than the second, because Sookie actually realizes that her vampire boyfriend is kind of lame (hope that's not revealing too much). Plus, there's some great new characters.
9) This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. This is a young adult novel about a teenage girl who has some father-abandonment issues, and meets this rocker boy who is totally not her type; most of the story is about their relationship. I liked it, but I'm not sure it will have "lasting" power, I guess.
10) Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris. 4th book in Sookie Stackhouse. My favorite so far, probably. Sookie is really growing on me as a character. I think in this book she's learned a lot more about herself and it makes the book much more enjoyable to read.
Well, now I've achieved my quota for February (those Sookie books I can read in a day), so now I've saved up some time to read the next Outlander books, which will take me awhile as they are over 1000 pages each, but I'm really excited to read the next one!
