We made a critical mistake after buying some cupcakes from this cute little shop on Fort Ave in Locust Point- we went home and put them in the refrigerator. Don't do this! The buttercream became quite solidified and just didn't blend well with the cake. However, the frosting that we let sit a little bit and get to room temperature was quite delicious.

We had the oreo cupcake and the peanut butter and chocolate cupcake. Each were lovely to look at. The flavors were great. The frosting on the oreo cupcake had a yummy cream cheese flavor, blended with oreos, while the PB chocolate cupcake had Reese's crumbled on top. My two complaints are that the cake was a little too dry and dense, and there was slightly too much frosting- delicious frosting, but too much compared to the amount of cake. Neither my husband nor I could eat all our frosting, and I am a huge frosting lover!

Nonetheless, this is a super cute local store, with a nice variety of cupcakes, and I hope they do well.
