4th of July?

Okay, so maybe it's nearly the 4th of August, but what can I say, July was a busy month!

We had a lot of fun on the 4th. With my sister and her husband getting ready to leave for Taiwan, we decided to spend the day with them (as well as my parents). We went on a nice hike:

Though at one point we got a little off the path and had to hike through some tall grasses:



After all that bushwacking, Dante and Kevin were pretty thirsty:



After the hike, we relaxed a little bit. We had delicious grilled pizzas for dinner, though a chilly front and some rain moved in so the outdoor activities were put on hold.

Fortunately, we were still able to light some little fireworks (don't worry, these are just the little smoke worms- the slightly larger fireworks we lit in the driveway, though one was so loud we thought for sure we would be arrested):



Kevin and I soaked up the 55 degree evening- we had just left 100 degree weather in Baltimore so it felt pretty great!
