Our Thanksgiving
We decided not to travel home for Thanksgiving this year, as it just seemed like too much work and money with little Nora, and we're traveling home for Christmas. We definitely missed seeing family and spending time at the cabin, though! It's funny to see pictures of my nephew from last year and to think he was about the same age as Nora is now.
Anyway, we had numerous kind offers of friends here to join them for Thanksgiving, but Kevin and I thought it would be kind of fun to have our own little Thanksgiving, just the three of us.
First, I wanted to enjoy the nice weather and get some family photos. Warning- lots of pictures ahead!

"Poke the tummy" usually gets a smile:

We even brought our tripod to get one of all three of us. This is my favorite (it was tricky to get Nora looking in the right direction):

We went home- Kevin cooked up an absolutely fabulous dinner of roasted chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and cranberry relish. What an amazing husband I have!

He also made homemade pumpkin pie for dessert with homemade whipped cream, and I made a cranberry pear crumble. So good!

Then after Nora was in bed, the Ravens were playing so Kevin got some good football/cat cuddling time.

All in all, a successful Thanksgiving!

Absolutely gorgeous photos! Nora is a doll!! Sounds like a perfect Thanksgiving too! :)
