I don't often do reviews on my blog, mostly because I only like to review products I really like. Well, I was happy to review Wheeler del Torro's new hot fudge sauce, as Kevin and I are kind of ice cream fanatics and I'm all about the hot fudge sauce.
It comes in a cute glass jar:
Apparently it's gluten-free, though Kevin says he thinks all chocolate sauce is gluten-free (I have no idea if this is true or not).
Anyway, by itself it has the texture of brownie batter (yum! I kind of just wanted to eat it out of the jar). Once heated in the microwave, it becomes smoother and easily drizzles over ice cream. I thought I detected a nice hint of espresso to bring out the chocolate-y taste. This is far superior to the cheap brands at the supermarket (though I would have preferred to eat it with our favorite ice cream flavor, Under the Stars. Of course it was sold out, because everyone loves that flavor. Why they don't stock more of their most popular product I'll never know. Maybe to keep the demand up? Now I'm off on a tangent. Oh, so we settled on Butter Pecan.)
Wheeler del Torro has an etsy shop where he sells his products. There are several different flavors, like orange chocolate, coconut chocolate, salted chocolate, Mayan mint, and even rose-water infused chocolate (intriguing). Also, you can custom order these for party favors! I thought this was a great idea for a wedding or even baby shower.
My one hesitation is the cost- I mean, this chocolate sauce is tasty, but $10 tasty? Maybe for a rare splurge.
*I was given a sample of this product to try, but my opinions of the product are my own.

Oh my word. That looks incredible. Brownie fudge? YES PLEASE!
